I'm writing this post in hopes that if you are a person with a disability or a family member of one, you'll be aware of this welfare service and apply for it to receive monthly cash support.
Who is eligible for disability benefits?

Disability Allowance Selection Criteria
1) Targeting recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security and the lower-middle class
The income recognition amount is assessed by the income assessment amount and the income refund amount of the property.
- The income assessment amount is the amount calculated by subtracting household-specific expenses and earned income deductions from actual income.
The criteria for selection as a lower-middle class is when the income recognition amount is below the standard median income of 50%, which is 2,700,482 won or less for a family of four.
2) Age criteria for disability allowance
Limited to those who are 18 years of age or older as of the month in which they apply. This includes those who will turn 18 by the end of the month in which they apply. However, this excludes those aged 18 to 20 who are enrolled in schools as defined in Article 2 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
3) Other criteria
Disabled overseas Koreans (including overseas Koreans) and foreigners registered in accordance with Article 32 of the Welfare of Disabled Persons Act are excluded.
