I planned a world tour with my family and spent a month living in Bali, my first country. I visited Nusa Dua, Kuta, Ubud, Legian, and other places in Bali, where I ate the most delicious food I found. I'd like to introduce you to the top three must-visit Balinese restaurants.
Must-Visit Restaurants in Bali
Among the many areas in Bali that I have traveled to, Kuta, Ubud, and Legian are famous for their delicious restaurants.
Among them, I would like to introduce only the three restaurants that received the best responses from my middle school son, my wife, and myself, and that were the most satisfying among the restaurants I personally visited. (It's not just ranked 1, 2, 3)
Seminyak Warung Nia (Warung Nia Balinese Food & Pork Ribs)
If your accommodation in Bali is near Kuta or Seminyak, this is a must-visit place. Located in Seminyak Warung Nia (Balinese Food & Ribs)am.
This restaurant is famous for its chicken skewers, which are grilled over a fire.

- Address: Kayu Aya Square, Jl. Kayu Aya No.19-21, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta Utara, Bali, 80361
- Representative number: +6287761556688
- Business Hours: Open 11:00 AM | Close 10:00 PM
Warungnia's recommended menu
Warungnia can be considered a local Balinese restaurant.
However, all the menu items are suitable for foreigners' tastes without any problems, and even those who are sensitive to food smells and have difficulty trying them can enjoy them without difficulty.

Even my middle school son, who is a bit sensitive to smells, enjoyed these dishes without any problems. They were my favorites. The ribs and chicken skewers, fried food and rice are all delicious.
Even though I ordered it like this, my son enjoyed it so much that he ordered chicken satay as well. Since this is a restaurant frequented by so many Koreans, the staff speak Korean comfortably.
This is a local restaurant that my middle school son in Bali was most satisfied with.

Another reason to visit Warungnia
At the entrance to Warungnia, there is a market that is similar to a flea market in Korea.
Even though it is called a flea market, they sell a wide variety of items. After eating, you can go here. Another reason this restaurant is so appealing is the leisurely window shopping.am.

Legian Phetchaw
Fat ChowIs Famous for being chosen by CNN as a place with the best nasi gorengdo.
I also visited this place after hearing this rumor. I have lived in Bali for about a month and have eaten countless nasi gorengs. I went there out of curiosity, wondering, "How delicious is it?" and "Is it selected by CNN?".

- Location: Jl. Poppies II No.7C, Kuta, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361
- Representative number: +6287761330661
- Business Hours: Open 10:00 AM | Close 10:00 PM

The interior wasn't anything special. It had friendly staff and a clean interior, and wasn't much different from other Balinese restaurants. So what made this restaurant so famous?

- Nasi Goreng
Nasi Goreng, the dish that made Pat Chow famousI also like nasi goreng and enjoyed it in Bali because it is the most filling dish, but I can never forget the nasi goreng I had at Pat Chow.
Like typical Balinese nasi goreng, it's not salty at all, but rather light, and even the snacks that always accompany it are delicious. If you're traveling in Bali, especially in the Kuta area, I highly recommend trying nasi goreng.

- Migoreng
The mi goreng I ate in Bali was generally salty. However, Patchau's mi goreng is not salty, the noodles do not burst, and it is savory. The green onions on top are impressive. This is clearly a chef who knows his way around the dish.

- Chicken satay
Actually, I don't remember the taste of the chicken satay because my son ate it all.
I think the fact that it suited my teenage son's taste, who is sensitive and discerning about food, has already proven the taste of the situation.
Served with mi goreng and nasi goreng, it creates a perfect combination. I remember wondering, "How did they get the seasoning for the chicken satay so perfectly?". It's not a restaurant selected by CNN for nothing. CNN works hard, huh?

Jimbaran Hatikku
If you're craving seafood in Bali, Jimbaran is a must-visit. Jimbaran Beach is lined with restaurants renowned for their seafood, and dining here while enjoying the Jimbaran sunset is one of Bali's most popular tourist attractions.
Among them, the most famous place for Koreans is Jimbaran. HATIKUThis is a restaurant called . If you sit here, it is no exaggeration to say that 5 out of 10 tables are Korean, so it is the best restaurant that suits the taste of many Koreans.

The outdoor tables are usually full by dinner time, so you'll need to find a seat inside.
However, since the inside restaurant is filled with smoke from grilling seafood, you should try to reserve a seat outside in advance if possible. To do that, It is recommended to reserve a beach seat by phone or visit the restaurant before 5:30 p.m.
- Jimbaran Seafood's signature menu
Jimbaran Seafood offers seafood selections that can be ordered by the gram. Popular dishes include tiger prawns, clams, and fried squid, all available in 100-gram increments.

The menu that my husband, I, and my middle school child ordered together was 900g of tiger shrimp, 1000g of clams, 400g of fried squid, and 3 drinks. A total of 921,000 rupiahcame out.
(It is approximately 90,000 won in our currency, and in fact It was a huge order for three people. My middle school son especially liked the tiger shrimp and ate a lot.)
- Free menu
When you order seafood at Hatikku The free menu includes rice and morning glory. The rice, called Japaness Rice, can be refilled whole, and Morning Glory can also be refilled.

You can also dip seafood in it and eat it as a side dish. Four types of sauce are also provided free of charge. It will work.

Of the countless restaurants I've dined at while traveling around Bali, these are the ones I've chosen as the absolute best. Of course, taste is subjective, but it's clear that they perfectly suited the tastes of the middle school students I was traveling with.
If you are planning a trip with your family, or someone with a sensitive palate who may not agree with Bali's cuisine, I am confident that the restaurants and menus listed above will not disappoint.
