The exterior of the strange mail room is not sure if it is a cafe or not.
Once you step inside the store, you will finally realize that it is a cafe.
But even the menu doesn't tell you what drinks are available. However, if you enter through the secret door on the right, you'll get the impression that this is a cafe that leads to the second and third floors.

The second floor, with its antique furniture and antique wallpaper, evokes the atmosphere of a European home. It was already packed, even though it was almost lunchtime, so I went up to the third floor.

The coffee order form is uniquely placed on the ceiling, giving it that distinctive look. While nothing special, the large window makes for a great place to leisurely enjoy your coffee while looking outside.

After taking our seats, we went down to the first floor and ordered coffee. There were several options, but my wife and I were both obsessed with Einspanner these days, so we both ordered that.

The coffee tasted quite good. The thick cream on top of the coffee gently enveloped the sweet and bitter flavor. It was much thicker than the typical Einspanner cream, giving it a more luxurious feel.
I was very satisfied with the taste of the coffee, but if you visit here on a crowded day around lunchtime, you may have to go back and forth because you might not be able to get a seat on the second or third floor. Please keep this in mind.

늦은 여름, 이제 슬슬 시원한 바람이 불어오는 날에 가볼만한 곳입니다. 많은 분들이 삼청동, 인사동은 잘 아시지만 이곳에는 그냥 스쳐지나가시는 분이 많은데요. 바로 종로구 삼청동에 위치한 정독도서관입니다.
정독도서관은 매우 역사가 깊은 곳입니다. 정독도서관은 1938년, 서울 경기 고등학교의 본관으로 건축된 건물입니다. 그런데 서울 경기 고등학교가 1976년 강남으로 이전하면서 이후에는 이 도서관을 서울시 교육청 정독도서관으로 사용하고 있습니다.
정독도서관은 시민들이 책을 읽을 수 있도록 만들어 놓은 공간이지만, 안쪽 공간이 아니더라도 도서관 앞 공간을 시민들이 쉬기 좋게 조성해 놓은 곳으로 바쁜 도심 속에서 한적한 벤치에 앉아서 바람을 쐐기 좋은 공간입니다. 3호선 안국역에서 출발하면 걸어서 10분 내외면 도착할 수 있습니다.
또한 삼청공원을 찾으시는 분들이 빼놓을 수 없는 곳이 바로 삼청숲속도서관입니다. 삼청공원 내에 위치한 이곳은 삼청공원의 자연과 매우 잘 어울리는 공간으로 나만의 숲속 비밀 공간 같은 곳입니다.
