Ubud's famous restaurant, Pison
피손(PISON)은 우붓의 수많은 맛집 중에서도 소문난 맛집입니다. 그래서 Even if you go during a slightly crowded time, it is common to have to wait in line.
PISON, where you can dine while enjoying the view of the rice fields
If I had to pick the biggest feature of Pison, it would be The fact that you can enjoy the atmospheric view of the rice fields next to the restaurant입니다.
There is a charming outdoor seating area (it's a bit hot outside).
가족과 함께, 특히 아이와 함께라면 그리고 더위를 매우 힘들어하는 사람이라면 에어컨이 빵빵 터지는 내부를 선택하는 것도 좋은 옵션입니다.
The ceiling is high, so it is cool and not stuffy.
The most striking feature of the interior of Pison is the extensive use of wood for tables, chairs, and wall decorations, giving it a very eco-friendly feel. The high ceiling and large windows on all sides create a cool and open feeling even inside.Gives.
The specialness of food
Breakfast menu
Pison's Breakfast Menu
Pison's Brunch Menu: Pancakes
Bakery and Coffee
My husband and I's favorite milk ice latte
Bali is renowned for its abundance of delicious food. Ubud, in particular, attracts the most tourists, making it a place with a wealth of unique and delicious restaurants. Today, I'd like to introduce one of Ubud's most popular restaurants: Suka Espresso.
Suka Espresso
Suka Espresso is not actually a place that is well known to Koreans. Even now. A place mostly filled with Westerners and especially famous for its delicious food. This is also true. I learned about this place through an acquaintance who has been doing business in Bali for over 20 years. It is not a cafe.
Located near Monkey Forest, this two-story restaurant serves a variety of delicious food, including burgers, pasta, and sandwiches.
This is the second floor of Suka Espresso. Ubud is a popular destination for Koreans, so you'll see plenty of them everywhere you go. But this place is different. Almost all of them are Westerners, with only a few Chinese people to be seen.
대부분의 손님들이 서양인들이다.
The second-floor windowless dining area offers the advantage of a gentle breeze while dining. Furthermore, if you're seated by the window, you can enjoy your meal while looking out over Ubud's central street.

Sukka Espresso Menu
‘'Everything at Sukka Espresso is delicious, every drink is delicious.'’It's renowned for its exceptional food, so much so that it's become a household name. While still relatively unknown, I predict it will soon become a popular restaurant among Koreans in Ubud. Here are some must-try dishes.
hamburger
Actually, many The most popular menu item among foreigners is the hamburger. It is a handmade burger with soft buns, homemade meat patties, and French fries, making it a menu item so delicious that it is difficult to say it is not delicious.
Hamburgers are a given, but all the food is delicious and special.
pasta
Pasta is one of the most popular menu items among Westerners. A restaurant that makes delicious pasta, a popular European dish, is truly a restaurant that Westerners love. With so many Westerners visiting, the pasta's flavor is guaranteed.
From the right amount of noodles to the various seafood inside, all of Sukka Espresso's pastas are delicious.
The most delicious spaghetti I've ever had in Bali
salad
Salads, featuring a variety of fresh vegetables, are a popular menu item at Sukka Espresso. When you're feeling unwell, salads are a satisfying way to whet your appetite, and the perfect balance of seasoning and vegetables makes them particularly special.

Suka EspressoAll menus can be found through the site below.
Suka Espresso is one of Ubud's hidden gems. While it's currently relatively unknown to Koreans, I'm confident it will soon be filled with Korean customers.
I planned a world tour with my family and spent a month living in Bali, my first country. I visited Nusa Dua, Kuta, Ubud, Legian, and other places in Bali, where I ate the most delicious food I found. I'd like to introduce you to the top three must-visit Balinese restaurants.
Must-Visit Restaurants in Bali
Among the many areas in Bali that I have traveled to, Kuta, Ubud, and Legian are famous for their delicious restaurants.
Among them, I would like to introduce only the three restaurants that received the best responses from my middle school son, my wife, and myself, and that were the most satisfying among the restaurants I personally visited. (It's not just ranked 1, 2, 3)
If your accommodation in Bali is near Kuta or Seminyak, this is a must-visit place. Located in Seminyak Warung Nia (Balinese Food & Ribs)am.
This restaurant is famous for its chicken skewers, which are grilled over a fire.

Warungnia's recommended menu
Warungnia can be considered a local Balinese restaurant.
However, all the menu items are suitable for foreigners' tastes without any problems, and even those who are sensitive to food smells and have difficulty trying them can enjoy them without difficulty.
A table of food ordered from Warungnia
Even my middle school son, who is a bit sensitive to smells, enjoyed these dishes without any problems. They were my favorites. The ribs and chicken skewers, fried food and rice are all delicious.
Even though I ordered it like this, my son enjoyed it so much that he ordered chicken satay as well. Since this is a restaurant frequented by so many Koreans, the staff speak Korean comfortably.
This is a local restaurant that my middle school son in Bali was most satisfied with.
Warungnia's outdoor tables filled with guests
Another reason to visit Warungnia
At the entrance to Warungnia, there is a market that is similar to a flea market in Korea.
Even though it is called a flea market, they sell a wide variety of items. After eating, you can go here. Another reason this restaurant is so appealing is the leisurely window shopping.am.
There is a small market nearby where you can do some shopping.
Legian Phetchaw
Fat ChowIs Famous for being chosen by CNN as a place with the best nasi gorengdo.
I also visited this place after hearing this rumor. I have lived in Bali for about a month and have eaten countless nasi gorengs. I went there out of curiosity, wondering, "How delicious is it?" and "Is it selected by CNN?".
It is located on a quiet roadside.
Location: Jl. Poppies II No.7C, Kuta, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361
Representative number: +6287761330661
Business Hours: Open 10:00 AM | Close 10:00 PM
The quiet and sophisticated design is attractive.
The interior wasn't anything special. It had friendly staff and a clean interior, and wasn't much different from other Balinese restaurants. So what made this restaurant so famous?
On the wall opposite the outdoor seating area of Patchau, you can enjoy a beautiful mural.
Nasi Goreng
Nasi Goreng, the dish that made Pat Chow famousI also like nasi goreng and enjoyed it in Bali because it is the most filling dish, but I can never forget the nasi goreng I had at Pat Chow.
Like typical Balinese nasi goreng, it's not salty at all, but rather light, and even the snacks that always accompany it are delicious. If you're traveling in Bali, especially in the Kuta area, I highly recommend trying nasi goreng.
Pat Chow's nasi goreng also has something like a snack on top.
Migoreng
The mi goreng I ate in Bali was generally salty. However, Patchau's mi goreng is not salty, the noodles do not burst, and it is savory. The green onions on top are impressive. This is clearly a chef who knows his way around the dish.
Fat Chow's Mee Goreng
Chicken satay
Actually, I don't remember the taste of the chicken satay because my son ate it all.
I think the fact that it suited my teenage son's taste, who is sensitive and discerning about food, has already proven the taste of the situation.
Served with mi goreng and nasi goreng, it creates a perfect combination. I remember wondering, "How did they get the seasoning for the chicken satay so perfectly?". It's not a restaurant selected by CNN for nothing. CNN works hard, huh?
Jimbaran Hatikku
If you're craving seafood in Bali, Jimbaran is a must-visit. Jimbaran Beach is lined with restaurants renowned for their seafood, and dining here while enjoying the Jimbaran sunset is one of Bali's most popular tourist attractions.
Among them, the most famous place for Koreans is Jimbaran. HATIKUThis is a restaurant called . If you sit here, it is no exaggeration to say that 5 out of 10 tables are Korean, so it is the best restaurant that suits the taste of many Koreans.
The smoke from grilling seafood and the sunset combine to create a fantastic atmosphere.
The outdoor tables are usually full by dinner time, so you'll need to find a seat inside.
However, since the inside restaurant is filled with smoke from grilling seafood, you should try to reserve a seat outside in advance if possible. To do that, It is recommended to reserve a beach seat by phone or visit the restaurant before 5:30 p.m.
Jimbaran Seafood's signature menu
Jimbaran Seafood offers seafood selections that can be ordered by the gram. Popular dishes include tiger prawns, clams, and fried squid, all available in 100-gram increments.
You can enjoy a variety of seafood.
The menu that my husband, I, and my middle school child ordered together was 900g of tiger shrimp, 1000g of clams, 400g of fried squid, and 3 drinks. A total of 921,000 rupiahcame out.
(It is approximately 90,000 won in our currency, and in fact It was a huge order for three people. My middle school son especially liked the tiger shrimp and ate a lot.)
Free menu
When you order seafood at Hatikku The free menu includes rice and morning glory. The rice, called Japaness Rice, can be refilled whole, and Morning Glory can also be refilled.
Provides sauces that enrich the taste of seafood
You can also dip seafood in it and eat it as a side dish. Four types of sauce are also provided free of charge. It will work.
Of the countless restaurants I've dined at while traveling around Bali, these are the ones I've chosen as the absolute best. Of course, taste is subjective, but it's clear that they perfectly suited the tastes of the middle school students I was traveling with.
If you are planning a trip with your family, or someone with a sensitive palate who may not agree with Bali's cuisine, I am confident that the restaurants and menus listed above will not disappoint.
For those who attend church regularly, it's crucial to know what kind of church is available in the destination you're traveling to and whether it's trustworthy. I, too, needed a church to attend during my trip to Bali. So, I searched for:, New Tribe Bali International ChurchIntroducing .
Why I Visited New Tribe Bali International Church (IFGF)
During my 30 days in Bali, I spent a lot of time staying at accommodations near Kuta Beach. I visited a nearby church for Sunday worship. There was a Korean church around East Denpasar, but since Bali is a world-class tourist destination, I wanted to go to a Korean church. I wanted to attend a church where people from all over the world gather locally.
So the place I went to was New Tribe Bali International ChurchIt was. The image of the worship service on Google Maps was very impressive, and I thought I would like to worship there too.
New Tribe Bali International Church (IFGF) Location and Basic Information
The New Tribe Bali International Church is located atop what appears to be a parking tower. It was previously used for other purposes, but it felt like it was rented out for use as a place of worship. You can either drive up to the parking tower or take a small elevator.
Church Address: Mal Bali Galeria, Parking Building, ICCB, Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai Gg. Dewaruci No.Simpang 4th Floor, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80239
Worship time: 9:00 am Indonesian Service | 11:00 AM English Service
New Tribe Church Service Information
When my accommodation was near Kuta, I attended services at Tribe Bali Church on May 20 and June 2, 2024.
At first, I didn't know the English service time, so I went at 9 o'clock, but I couldn't understand it at all, so I left in the middle. 11 o'clock serviceI gave it to you again. (Be sure to check the worship times.)
The interior of a fairly large church
scale
It is a church that can accommodate about 500 people, and the Indonesian service was mostly for Balinese people, and the number of members was about half of the number of people who attended the English service.
but, The 11 o'clock English service had a much larger crowd, and the seats were almost full. They worshipped. (I don't speak English, but it wasn't too hard to understand. It depends on the pastor.)
Praise and Word
Maybe it's because I'm not familiar with worship these days, but most of the worship songs at New Tribe Church were unfamiliar to me. However, the lyrics and verses were displayed so clearly on the screen behind me that I had no trouble singing along or reading the verses.
Especially, those who lead worship or pastors who deliver sermons are definitely It is much more free and not bound by formal frameworks than Korean churches, so worship feels more free.I lost.
During worship and praise
Welcoming new believers and offerings
The church is a place that pays a lot of attention to new believers. New Tribe Church also welcomes new believers and has a sign at the entrance. A free coffee voucher is given at the cafe.It was advertised well. It was nice to see all the attendees welcoming newcomers.
Information Record Card for New Believers
When you first arrive, there's an envelope on your chair. Put your offering in the envelope, and when you leave after the service, place it in the offering box at the back. Since we don't pass around a separate offering basket or anything, you can donate as you see fit.
I am grateful that there is such a passionate worship service in Indonesia.
Every first Sunday, Holy Communion Sunday
The day I went to church was June 2nd It was Holy Communion Sunday, so we had Holy Communion at New Tribe Church.I ended up doing this. It was amazing. There was a white candy-like thing on the lid of a plastic bag stacked like jelly, and when you remove the shell, there was wine underneath.
It was a wonderful and thankful experience to be able to celebrate the Eucharist in Bali, Indonesia, not just in Korea.
The communion set for the Eucharist was easy to carry and store.
Meal after worship
I was able to do this because I stayed at a hotel right near New Tribe Church, but I'm sure there are those who visit from a bit further away. For those of you, I'd like to share some restaurant recommendations after the service.
After the service, the passageway to Mall Bali Galleria
If you go down to the second floor instead of the first floor of the church parking lot building, you will come across a bridge that will take you to another building. If you continue along this road, Mall Bali GalleriaYou can go to the well-known shopping mall in Kuta area called .
Mal Bali Galeria
Mal Bali Galeria is one of the most famous shopping malls in the Kuta area. Its square shape is surprisingly large. Inside, you'll find everything from car showrooms to Uniqlo and electronics stores.
Inside and outside views of Mall Bali Galleria
There are also quite a few restaurants. There's J.CO Coffee Shop (my favorite), which gives you a free donut with your coffee order; Marugame Udon, a restaurant my family loves and visits often; and RedDog, a Korean tteokbokki restaurant.
There are a variety of restaurants catering to different tastes and nationalities, making it a great place to visit after worship. (There's also a huge grocery market in a corner of the second floor, so be sure to check it out.)
A Visit to New Tribe Bali International Church (IFGF)
I am currently traveling the world and would like to attend a local church wherever I am, if possible.
In Bali, where even just stepping outside one's home is filled with sarira and idols, just being able to gather together and worship God was a moving and blessed experience. It was a joyful and joyful time, filled with such a wonderful worship experience and encounters with such wonderful people.
Wondering where to buy souvenirs from your Bali trip? A father in his 40s has personally visited every market and shopping mall in Bali with his family and recommends the top three spots. Don't waste time and find a special Bali gift to bring back to Korea!
Where to Buy Souvenirs in Bali
Bali, Indonesia ‘A place called 'Island of the Gods'It is a place loved by tourists from all over the world for its beautiful natural scenery and unique atmosphere of the entire island.
Ubud Palace, which preserves Bali's culture and traditions
Because the entire island is a tourist destination, Bali is a country where you can purchase special Bali-related tourist products almost anywhere. If you're looking to buy souvenirs after your Bali trip, where should you go?
This question brings to mind three places. I'll introduce their locations, prices, and what you might want to buy.
Seminyak Bintang Market
The first place I would like to recommend is located in Seminyak. Bintan SupermarketHere it is. There is another Bintang Market in the Hayam Wuruk area, but the Bintang Market in Seminyak is larger and more centrally located, making it much easier to get to.
Bintang Market, a must-visit for countless travelers visiting Bali
Business Hours: Monday - Sunday 7:30 AM | 10:00 PM
Seminyak Bintang Market Review
Bali's Bintang Market is well known and famous, but since you can't know the specific pros and cons without going there yourself, I'll introduce the pros and cons of Bintang Market Seminyak branch, as well as my review, based on my own experience.
Contrary to expectations, the interior is very large and stylishly decorated.
The price is cheap
I lived in Bali for a month and visited most of the markets and shopping malls from Nusa Dua to Tegalalang in Ubud, and the prices were so cheap that I wondered, "Can you find a cheaper place than here?".
Really cheap souvenirs and traditional crafts
True to its name, Bintang beer prices are lower than those of any other local market. I also buy a lot of souvenirs for friends after my Bali trip, and even these are cheaper than bargaining at any other market.
Instead of wandering around multiple markets and wasting energy haggling over souvenirs, I think buying them at Bintang Market is the most reasonable and wisest option. The variety of souvenirs is also great.
Of course, it's not just about souvenirs, it's also a two-story store with coffee, daily necessities, honey, key rings, wooden dolls, fruits, and vegetables, so the items are too numerous to mention.
As it is Bali's representative market, it is also large in scale.
Easy accessibility
Seminyak, where Bintang Market is located, is the center of Bali and is a place where many tourists visit every year due to its concentration of luxurious shops, hotels, and resorts.
So, before going to Ngurah Rai Airport, it is very convenient to stop by the nearby Seminyak Bintang Market to buy souvenirs.
Traditional honey, one of the most famous souvenirs from Bali
The road in front of Bintang Market is a two-lane road that goes both ways. A place where traffic congestion occurs frequently because it is very narrow compared to the number of vehicles. So, it's good to always be aware of this advantage. (It's not something to worry about too much, as it doesn't feel like it's being pushed around in Korea.)
Ubud Art Market
This is a representative traditional market in Ubud. Located in the heart of Ubud, across from the Ubud Royal Palace, it's a popular destination for tourists visiting the palace.
When I visited Ubud Market on my honeymoon in 2010, it was just a typical traditional market, but in the meantime, the market burned down and was rebuilt into its current magnificent appearance.
There are no windows or doors, so you'll have to be prepared for the heat when you visit.
The Ubud Art Market, reborn as a massive building resembling a grand palace, may seem unfamiliar, but it nonetheless attracts a huge number of tourists. (The Ubud Market I visited on my honeymoon wasn't like this.)
Ubud Art Market Reviews
Various souvenirs
A place that sells all the souvenirs and items you can think of from BaliHere, you'll find everything from fans and silverware to wooden dolls, handkerchiefs, wood carvings, bowls, and bracelets. The entire second floor of the two massive buildings is dedicated to souvenir shopping.
The fun of bargaining
Since there are no set prices, you can negotiate prices. If you are good at bargaining, I recommend visiting the Ubud Art Market.
So if you are someone who doesn't like to haggle over prices and just pays what is quoted, A place where you can buy at a higher price than usualThat's it.
Traditional Balinese handicrafts
Traditional market across the street
Across from the massive Ubud Art Market, there's an alleyway that still retains the atmosphere of the old Ubud Market. Naturally, tourists tend to flock to the market inside the large building, making for a very leisurely shopping experience.
Since there are relatively few floating populations and fewer tourists, you can buy souvenirs and other items at cheaper prices if you are good at bargaining.
Traditional market across from Ubud Art Market in Bali
✅ Things to keep in mind when visiting the Ubud Art Market
First, the bathroom is very dirty.
Because it's such a popular tourist destination, it's so dirty that Koreans often avoid using it. The poorly maintained restrooms are prone to foul odors and filth, making them unusable.
Be sure to use the hotel bathroom before your visit. (My wife went in to use it but just came out😱)
Second, it's very hot.
The Ubud Art Market is housed in a massive building, restored to its original traditional appearance, but it's completely open, with no doors. It's practically like being outdoors in the shade (though you'll sweat profusely even inside).
However, since there are so many people crowded together, you can see that even if you turn on the ceiling fan, you will sweat a lot.
It is a huge building with an incredibly high ceiling.
Nusa Dua Bali Collection
Located a five-minute drive from Nusa Dua Beach, Bali Collection is a shopping paradise. Bali Collection is the place where you can find everything from traditional crafts to expensive products and luxury goods.no see.
Bali Collection is a shopping complex with a very luxurious atmosphere. Although it does not have tall buildings or fancy decorations, it has a more luxurious feel than the typical Bali. A well-organized European village-like atmosphereis a place with .
The interior is very spacious and quiet, so it's a great place to visit for a walk.
Various products
Here you can find everything from very inexpensive keychains and toys to luxurious sculptures, paintings and handicrafts. Where to buy a variety of productsThis is also true.
The range of choices is so wide that even if you don't buy anything in particular, just walking around the Bali Collection can be a very enjoyable trip.
It's expensive
Overall, things are more expensive than typical Balinese prices. Not only things, but even the food at the numerous restaurants can feel expensive.
Bali Collection is Rather than coming to buy, it is enough to visit with the feeling of looking at how it is decorated and what kind of items are available.I did (I felt like a lot of Westerners came)
The interior of the Bali Collection is quite well organized.
Honest reviews of shopping malls and markets
Bali boasts a wide variety of shopping malls. Whether you're looking at Discovery Mall, Mall Bali Galleria, Sidewalk, Beachwalk, or Seminyak Square, you'll find that they all offer similar shopping experiences.
The only difference is the presence or absence of certain stores, but the three shopping malls and markets mentioned above have a significant difference from the other shopping malls mentioned above, and they have their own unique and distinctive charm.
Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, what travelers remember is what makes a place special, right?
Traveling in Bali, you'll find yourself craving spicy and salty Korean food. Whenever you feel that way, there's always a place you'll find yourself drawn to: Mugunghwa Distribution in Kuta. The first floor is filled with Korean products and ready-to-eat meals, while the second floor houses a Korean restaurant.
Mugunghwa Distribution Information
In May 2024, we spent a month living in Bali with our family. During our final week, we found ourselves missing Korea terribly. It's already been three weeks since we started our trip, so how much will we miss Korea during the rest of our stay? (Traveling the world with family)
There is a place I want to go every time, and it is located in the Kuta area. Mugunghwa DistributionThis place, which I stumbled upon by chance, has a Korean owner. There's a Korean grocery store on the first floor, and a Korean restaurant on the second.
The entrance to Mugunghwa Distribution, where you can taste Korean food
The interior is surprisingly spacious. Because Mugunghwa Distribution primarily sells Korean products, each corner offers a wide variety of items, including vegetables, frozen foods, instant coffee, and instant food.
An interior filled with K-food
Upon entering the Mugunghwa Distribution Center, there was a photo of BTS, a singer at the center of K-pop, the pride of Korea, welcoming customers with a bright smile.
I liked it because just seeing them smiling brightly and welcoming me made me feel like I was in Korea. Above is I love you!! KoreaIt's been a while since I've seen it written in Korean, which makes me even happier.
Full body photos of BTS inside a Mugunghwa distribution center
Now that you've seen the photos you absolutely must see at Mugunghwa Distribution, let's take a look at the items.
We sell coffee mixes that come to mind when you're tired overseas, familiar snacks like Korean corn, Jjanggu, and Jochung Yugwa, as well as ramen, and the white rice that you always feel is lacking when you come to Bali.
It was like 'heaven' for our family who was traveling outside of Korea.
Among them, there were some that made me think, "Is this thing here?". The first item is the shower filter. It was. In fact, one of the main reasons we came here was because the Kuta area is famous for having poor tap water.
The shower filter I bought in Korea had turned black, so I needed a new one. I searched all over Bali, but I couldn't find one anywhere.
By the way, Mugunghwa Distribution had shower filters. It was so amazing. The price of shower filters is 100,000 rupees! and Another one is a fly swatterMy accommodation was in Kuta, and there were a lot of mosquitoes because there was a pond nearby.
At first, I thought, 'If there are a lot of mosquitoes, I can just catch them,' but Bali mosquitoes are small and fast, so I needed a fly swatter.
2nd floor_Korean soul food K-snacks
The second floor is a restaurant serving K-food. Living in Bali, I really miss Korean food, and knowing that Mugunghwa Distribution is always available brings me great comfort. Let's take a look at what's on the menu.
The K-food craze is blowing in Bali as well.
The second floor had a clean white backdrop and plenty of tables. Since I visited around lunchtime, there were quite a few people, and a particularly large portion of them were Korean.
It seems like there are quite a few Koreans in Bali who miss Korean food, and I feel very proud to see Indonesians enjoying K-food.
Quite a few people were enjoying Korean food.
👉Mugunghwa Distribution K-Snack Recommended Menu
ramen
When you order food, they serve basic side dishes (kimchi, pancake, and stir-fried fish cake). Just the side dishes alone make you feel like you're back in Korea. The kimchi and pancake flavors are so unique, you'll never find them in Bali. (The stir-fried fish cake was just so-so.)
The ramen topped with green onions felt like it completely cleared out my clogged stomach. Ramen is always delicious, no matter where you eat it. I highly recommend it!
Ramen sold on the 2nd floor of Mugunghwa Distribution Center
tteokbokki
I couldn't resist trying tteokbokki, my wife's favorite food. The appearance and color are appealing and mouthwatering, but the taste is just... I recommend other dishes, but if even just something resembling tteokbokki is comforting, then order it!
Tteokbokki, the representative Korean food, can be tasted here.
kimbap
Kimbap is my soul food. It's a dish I love so much that I'd replace any meal with it in Korea. I never imagined I'd be able to eat it in Bali, so I was simply grateful.
The kimbap looks quite appetizing, but the unidentifiable pink radish makes it a bit odd. Nevertheless, the combination of the vegetables and rice is fantastic. I highly recommend the kimbap.
The radish is pink, but it still tastes good.
Honest review, made with my own money
I was so grateful to Mugunghwa Distribution for being able to find Korean products and food in Bali. That's because the Korean food available in Bali is often disappointing.
However, it's a place that makes me love Bali even more, a place so precious to our family. If you ever visit Bali and miss Korea or feel a hankering for Korean food, be sure to visit!

Ubud in Bali, in my opinion, is the best place to live. It's steeped in Balinese tradition and culture, yet also offers all the amenities tourists need for a comfortable stay.

If I were to ask this author, who is on his third trip to Bali, to pick his least favorite tourist attraction, it would be the Monkey Forest.
Here are five reasons why I don't like Monkey Forest and why I believe it's a must-visit tourist destination.

My job was as a production producer, so I was filming with the crew in Monkey Forest. A wild monkey tried to snatch the bag from a female cast member who was sitting still, but failed and bit her shoulder.
To protect the performer, the wild monkey was chased away, but the performer was injured in the shoulder and was surrounded by people. The Monkey Forest managers stopped me from chasing wild monkeys rather than injuring tourists.I did it.
Our performer was injured, but, Monkey Forest officials do not take any responsibility for the performer's injuries.
Wild monkeys in Monkey Forest
There are staff members at various locations in Monkey Forest to manage the wild monkeys. However, they are only responsible for the safety and facilities of the wild monkeys., It seemed like they had no intention of protecting tourists.
No matter how small, cute and amazing it is They are just wild monkeys after allYes, because they can turn into beasts at any time. Therefore, there's no reason to risk going to Monkey Forest.
2. Lost items
In front of the tourist entrance to Monkey Forest, there is a sign explaining several things to keep in mind in Monkey Forest. The warning is only for tourists. cautionno see.
Monkey Forest strongly warns visitors.
Don't panic
Don't run
Don't look a wild monkey in the eye.
Don't hide any food
Do not bring any kind of plastic or paper bags.
Never touch, catch, or disturb wild monkeys.
Do not give peanuts, cookies, candy, bread, any kind of sweets or any kind of snacks to wild monkeys.
Take good care of your child
While touring the Monkey Forest, you'll often witness wild monkeys actually opening tourists' bags and stealing their belongings. Their forelimbs are similar to those of humans, allowing them to do just about anything.
It is also common for water bottles or drinks to be snatched from your hands, or for sunglasses or small bags to be taken away.
A wild monkey sniffing tourists' hairpins
At the moment when things are stolen Even if the manager is there, it is absolutely wrong to expect them to take it back.If he witnessed the theft, there was nothing he could do but chase the wild monkey.
If you were to ask, "Should I risk meeting wild monkeys in the Monkey Forest and risk having my belongings (including those in my bag) stolen?", I would say, "Absolutely not.".
3. Difference in tourist admission fees
crowded with people Monkey Forest is mostly visited by foreign tourists.Except for the monkey forest rangers or zookeepers, it is difficult to find any Balinese or Indonesian people.
So maybe that's why the admission fees also vary greatly.
Balinese : 50,000 rupiah
Indonesian : 80,000 rupiah
Other foreigners : 100,000 rupiah
Appearance of Monkey Forest ticket booth
It is easy to see differences in admission fees depending on the tourist's origin at famous tourist sites or historical sites in any country, and I know that even some tourist sites in our country have such differences.
However, I felt a bit uneasy right from the ticket booth. I entered Monkey Forest, filled with doubts about whether this price difference was really necessary.
4. Monkeys you can see without paying an admission fee
Wild monkeys can easily be seen strutting along the paths surrounding Monkey Forest. I'd like to tell visitors entering the park that simply seeing the monkeys from outside is enough to satisfy their spirits.
The road leading to Monkey Forest is lined with shops selling tourist goods and clothing. The area is also crowded with people, and the wild monkeys that frequently appear in front of the forest are a particularly interesting sight for tourists.
Wild monkey cubs and groups
Now that I think about it, I wonder, “Why did I go into Monkey Forest?”.
If you want to see wild monkeys living in Ubud, Entrance fee: 100,000 rupeesI wish I knew that you can see wild monkeys roaming the streets nearby without paying a fee.
It's much more economical and efficient to sit outside in front of it and watch from afar. (A better way is to watch the monkey videos I made while walking around Monkey Forest myself.)
Most people who travel to Bali usually stay for a couple of months at most, or just a few weeks or days. However, Monkey Forest is located in Bali. There is so much to see and do in Ubud. There are more than one or two.
Spending time in the Monkey Forest and risking the unpredictable and dangerous behavior of wild monkeys is worth much more than that. Giving up on more exciting experiencesBecause it is excessive.
If you still want to go to Monkey Forest despite all the reasons above, you must be a true animal lover. Or animal loverIsn't it?
That's right. In fact, to be honest, I eat the bananas that the zookeepers throw at me in the monkey forest. It is a very interesting sight to see wild monkeys.no see.
A baby monkey suckling from its mother's breast
And there is no need to mention the baby monkeys who peek out their faces after hiding in their mothers' arms. However, the author visited the Monkey Forest and heard I just wrote down my honest feelings.
Nevertheless, there are clear differences in each person's travel style and values, so we can't stop you from making the journey to Monkey Forest. We only hope you enjoy a safe and enjoyable visit to Monkey Forest.
I'm currently traveling the world with my middle school son, and we're currently on our 27th day in Bali, Indonesia. Today, I went surfing at Kuta Beach, Bali's most popular tourist destination. Can we truly enjoy this 365-day journey?
Kuta Beach 27 Surf School
One of the most popular activities in Bali is surfing school.
While walking along Kuta Beach, I was approached by about 20 people from a surfing school. Today, I visited the place I visited last time., Book at 27 Surf School, the most visited school by KoreansDid.
Although I was so sore from the last surf that I couldn't join him, my son really wanted to surf, so we decided to go surfing today even though the waves were unusually high.
(Just looking at it makes my dad's legs tremble) I feel it again, but surfing is truly a sport for young people. It requires a lot more courage and stamina than you might think.

If you are someone who has been doing squats or exercising regularly, the story is different, but if you have only worked and your specialty is breathing exercises, surfing is definitely not an easy sport.
% Arabica coffee to blow away travel fatigue
My wife, a coffee lover who says she must drink at least one cup of coffee a day to avoid headaches, said that this is her favorite coffee in Bali. Yes, coffee (Arabica % coffee)am.
I've heard there's a similar coffee shop somewhere in Gangnam, Korea, but I haven't been there. However, located right on the hot and humid Kuta Beach, it's definitely more popular than the Starbucks next door.
Inside a Balinese coffee shop full of people
Restaurants and coffee shops frequented by Koreans are guaranteed to be cleaner and tastier than any other establishment. Arabica % Coffee is the place where you'll most likely find Koreans.
My wife's favorite Spanish Café LatteIt looks exactly like a regular latte, but it has a sweet aftertaste and a unique flavor, making it one of the coffees that many people love.
In Indonesian Rupiah prices IDR 65,000Even though it is not that cheap, people still have to wait in line every hour every day to drink it.

Fat Tony, an authentic burger restaurant run by an Australian owner‘
It's a burger restaurant called 'Pettoni' located right across from the entrance of the hotel I'm staying at in Legian, Bali.
Every day my family comes in, the place is packed. It's a popular destination for both Indonesians and Westerners.
Pat Tony Burger, a famous Bali burger restaurant
This place is owned by an Australian who truly loves burgers. Since it's made by an Australian who truly loves burgers, I was really curious about how it would taste.
So, I got a table with my family, waited for 35 minutes, and went inside. There was a very high percentage of Westerners there.
Pat Tony's burger that still makes my mouth water
The prices are very honest: 35,000 rupees for one patty, 45,000 rupees for two patties, and 55,000 rupees for one patty.
If you go into a restaurant with a slightly nice atmosphere, a can of Coca-Cola will cost you 35,000 rupees, so it goes without saying that the price is reasonable.
My son whines every day about eating a three-patty burger until the day he leaves. It's currently 4:00 PM. Now, as soon as I finish this post, I have to go to Pat Tony's for a burger.
I'm happy traveling the world with my son and wife.
Living in Bali for a month
Our family is traveling the world, and the first country we live in is Bali, Indonesia.
My wife, who has hated bugs since Korea, is gradually getting used to ants, and I smile as I watch my son comfortably relieve himself in a public restroom where there are cockroaches.
It's been 30 days since we started our journey. I'm excited to see how we'll grow as time goes by. This is the story of our family's clumsy, inadequate, and unplanned travels. 🎥YouTube channel TravelingYou can check it out at .
