Nha Trang is a popular travel destination for Koreans. My family of three traveled to Nha Trang for seven nights and eight days. Enjoying it with family We've compiled and delivered everything from Nha Trang restaurants to must-see places.I'll give it to you.

Summary of the 7-night, 8-day itinerary

I'd like to tell you in advance that my family and I started our trip in May as long-term travelers, so we didn't plan our trip as tightly as a typical travel schedule, but rather with a more relaxed pace.

When traveling to Nha Trang, rather than going around a lot, focus on eating delicious food since there are so many delicious restaurants.Please take note of the fact that I went to .

Day 1 (Tuesday, August 13, 2024)

  • After arriving at Nha Trang Airport, eat pho at the airport restaurant and then head to the hotel.
  • Since airport prices are very expensive, eat as much as possible before heading to the airport!

The Ventana Nha Trang Hotel is a 22-story hotel known for its value for money and is quite popular among Koreans.

  • The food is clean and there are many kinds of fruit, so kids like it too.

  • Compared to Korea, the price is cheaper, but the meat is tough and not very tasty.
  • I like meat, but I won't be back here for 7 days.

• 14:10 K-market shopping
  • I visited K-market to shop for essential items sold in Korea. There are three K-marts in Nha Trang, but they vary in size, so I recommend visiting the largest one.
    • We sell a variety of Korean products, making you feel as if you were in Korea.
    • You can purchase items at prices similar to those in Korea.

• 16:30 Nha Trang Beach Top Trang Huong
  • Right in front of the Nha Trang sea is the landmark of Nha Trang, Thap Trang Huong.
    • Top Jjang Huong : It is a symbolic building that is a beautiful sculptural symbol during the day and illuminates the Nha Trang sea at night. Inside, it is an exhibition space showcasing the history and culture of Nha Trang.

Day 3 (Thursday, August 15, 2024)

• 12:15 Lunch Souvlaki Restaurant – Greek Kitchen
  • It's a great place to visit when you're getting tired of Vietnamese pho.
  • This menu is also suitable for children's tastes, so it is good as a snack every now and then.
  • My family loves souvlaki so much that we ate here for three meals in seven days.

• 1:30 PM Dam Market, a famous attraction in Nha Trang
  • If you want to buy something in good condition, visit in the morning!
  • It's quite large, so please wear comfortable shoes!
  • Nha Trang's largest traditional market, where you can get a glimpse into the lives of Nha Trang residents and shop at affordable prices.
  • Selling a variety of products, including seafood, tropical fruits, spices, nuts, dried fish, cosmetics, accessories, and handicrafts.
  • Bargaining is essential and Korean customers are close to 90%.
  • Be careful of pickpockets as only cash is accepted for transactions!

• 15:30 Hon Chong Got – Nha Trang's representative tourist attraction
  • Hon ChongHuge boulders clustered together on the beach create a unique landscape. Hon Chong, meaning "Husband Rock," and Hon Bo, meaning "Wife Rock," are two of Nha Trang's most iconic tourist attractions.
  • There is an admission fee (may not be charged depending on the time)
  • There is a large cafe with a sea view at the entrance to Honchonggot, where you can enjoy a drink while looking at the sea. However, the hygiene is not very good.

• 6:15 PM Dinner: Hai Ca – Squid Fish Cake Rice Noodles

This pho restaurant, a specialty of Nha Trang, boasts two branches, the original and the branch located nearby. While it attracts a significant number of Korean tourists, reviews are generally mixed, and children are unlikely to enjoy it.

Day 4 (Friday, August 16, 2024)

  • A restaurant visited by many tourists because there is a large parking lot right in front.
  • The interior of the restaurant is very large and well decorated.
  • Not recommended for taste (just okay)

• 17:55 Dinner: Greek Souvlaki
  • When you're craving Vietnamese food, have souvlaki for dinner.
  • It's more filling and delicious than you'd think. Kids love it.

Day 5 (Saturday, August 17, 2024)

  • Nha Trang's beach has wide sand and gentle waves, making it a great place for children to play in the water.
  • However, because there was a lot of salt, my skin felt tingly when I went swimming in the sea.

• Prices are generally low, but are formed at a similar level.
  • However, the quality of foot massages varies considerably. Try several places and choose the best one!
• The places I've been to were just so-so, so I recommend other places!

Day 7 (Monday, August 19, 2024)

  • It is located in an alley, so it is not easy to find the restaurant.

  • The food is reasonably priced and delicious, making it a great place for gatherings.

• 16:00 Lotte Mart shopping
  • It's amazing to find a familiar Lotte Mart in Nha Trang.
  • There are two Lotte Marts in Nha Trang: Lotte Mart Nha Trang and Lotte Mart Gold Coast. The larger and more spacious Lotte Mart is a better choice for shopping.

1. Indoor atmosphere

The space is truly spacious. True to its name, the entrance area is decorated with plants and resembles a garden. The main hall, or interior, is like a large German beer hall, with tables lined with ample space. My family arrived for dinner, and there were a ton of Koreans enjoying their meal.

I heard that restaurants with a large Korean clientele abroad are known for being clean and delicious. This restaurant was indeed very Korean, with the exception of the staff. It was a very clean restaurant, and the staff were very likely to speak Korean, which made me feel comfortable.It was.

2. Menu and Food

There are a variety of menus that even children can enjoy, such as banh xeo and fried rice, as well as garlic shrimp, bun cha, and nem nuong. The food was clean and generally delicious.

It didn't feel like a typical restaurant, but rather like a Korean restaurant in Korea, and I felt like it would be a good place for a formal meal when having a family gathering or important meeting.

1. Restaurant interior atmosphere

As you can see from the outside, the restaurant is narrow and tall. Therefore, The first floor is the payment area, and the second to fourth floors are where you can eat.It is a duplex structure, so not many people can sit there.

Although the overall tone is yellow and the back is illuminated, please be aware that the overall feel is dark. While the home-style restaurant Summoi Garden has a bright and cheerful feel, Chao Mao has a dark and atmospheric feel.

2. Menu and Food

Even for a home-cooked meal, Chao Mao is quite pricey. Of course, it's not as expensive as the ones at Summoi Garden. Still, compared to Korea, it's a bit more affordable, so I find myself eating it with a sense of ease.

Of course, there were some delicious dishes at the Summoi Garden, but if you just look at the taste of the food, Chao Mao is my favorite restaurant. The food is very well suited to the Korean palate.

Even though the three of us ate like this, we still wanted to eat more, so we ordered an additional pork banh xeo (95,000 VND).

The most delicious dishes were the garlic shrimp and the banh xeo. My middle school son, who is a very picky eater, especially enjoyed the banh xeo. I think it's a good restaurant to go to with children.

3. Honest review

If I could only eat at one restaurant in Nha Trang, I would choose Chao Mao..

The banh xeo was delicious, and the other dishes were also excellent. Of course, I'm not saying everything was delicious. But of all the restaurants I've visited in Nha Trang, this one is definitely the most satisfying.

1. Restaurant atmosphere

There are many tables outside so you can eat outside, but as mentioned before, it is a place where you have to eat rice noodles in hot broth served in a boiling stone pot. I recommend going inside if possible.do.

If you don't mind the heat, the outdoor tables are also a good option. The interior is a two-story structure, so hot pots are frequently passed around. Be careful when you are with childrenI urge you to do so.

2. Menu and Food

When you order a pot of rice noodles at Pohan Pook, they first bring you the rice noodles and uncooked beef. Then, they bring you a pot of hot rice noodle broth, and you add the raw meat and rice noodles to cook them.

This rice noodle dish, which comes without the meat and noodles, is fun to eat by adding the meat and noodles together and cooking them, as shown in the photo on the right. While it's not much different from the rice noodles we eat, it has a few unique characteristics.

During my week in Ho Chi Minh City, I ate so much pho that I could have easily gotten bored, but eating a unique ttukbaegi pho was both novel and fun. Most importantly, it was delicious.

The heat, the essence of rice noodles, and the difference in the texture of the noodles make them even more delicious. If you visit Nha Trang, be sure to stop by and try some unique rice noodles at a local price!

There's another place nearby where you can try ttukbaegi rice noodles. 📍A place called [Popukrong]This is a place that sells rice noodles in a similar earthenware bowl to Pohanpok.

However, it seems like more Koreans go to Pho Phu Long. The restaurant is much larger, and you can enjoy the rice noodles in a clay pot in an air-conditioned room.

 

Hai Ka is a place where you can taste special rice noodles that can only be found in Nha Trang. When you think of rice noodles, you usually think of eating them with beef, but, Haika is a place where you can enjoy rice noodles with fried squid fish cake.no see.

The atmosphere of an old restaurant in our country Haika 2 is the second branch of the main branch called 'Bunka Haika'.It's the same place.

I can't say for sure because I haven't been to the main branch, but I've been there myself. According to bloggers, the second branch is neater and cleaner.They said so. So I came straight to the second branch.

As soon as we sat down, they brought us a menu in Korean mixed with English. This place is famous for its unique rice noodles called "Osquid Fish Cake Rice Noodles," so my family and I ordered that dish.

It was almost dinner time when I arrived, but there weren't many people. I went to the restaurant. As soon as I entered, there was a musty smellIt was there. I found out that the smell was coming from the soy sauce container and salted seafood-like seasonings on the table.

Because I ordered food Rice noodles with uncooked bean sprouts and thinly sliced lettuceThey brought it. The noodles were thin, like our country's janchi guksu, and inside there was something like fried squid fish cake.

Perhaps to counteract the greasiness of the fried food, the rice noodles were infused with a red seasoning I'd never seen before. The combination of the thick texture of our country's fish cake and the texture of the rice noodles was quite a good match.

3. Honest review

I was surprised by the musty smell, The taste was quite harmonious and the combination of rice noodles and fish cake, which I was trying for the first time, was refreshing.It felt like it was a lot of work. But while I was happily finishing the bowl, my middle school son seemed to be having a hard time.

It's clear that the smell affected the taste of the perfectly good rice noodles, even for someone who's sensitive to smells. However, the flavor was sufficient and enticing enough to make me want to come back for more.

However, I felt like it was a food that was quite divisive. If you have a sensitive palate, you might want to consider it.
