It's Friday, the end of the week. How do you deal with the stress and hardships of the week? For me, the best way to relieve stress is to listen to praise and reflect on myself. So, I've prepared today's praise to give you strength, courage, and comfort. How about listening to praise and ending the week with a heart full of gratitude?
1. My God, the King
One day, I thought to myself, "Why is it always so hard? Why is my heart so troubled?" Perhaps the reason things get so difficult, the reason my heart feels so weary, is because I can't entrust more to God, because I can't trust Him enough. I hope that on Friday, the last day of the week, I can take the time to surrender and let go of everything to God, my everything and my King.
My God, the King
I exalt the Lord
Lord, your name forever
Congratulations
My God, the King
I exalt the Lord
Lord, your name forever
Congratulations
2. Wherever I Live (Han Woong-jae)
This hymn always brought me comfort during the most difficult times of my childhood. "I love you, don't be afraid!" These lyrics felt like God was speaking to me. The person I knew only through his voice, and to whom I was always grateful, was a pastor named Han Woong-jae. I hope this hymn can be a source of comfort to you, too.
Wherever I live
Your wings protect me
Under that shade
I sing to the Lord
On a lonely and rough road
Even if my faith weakens
wait
Lord who can give
Always by my side
You speak to me
I love you
Don't be afraid
I will love you
You
I will trust that heart
Lord, while I live and breathe
3. I acknowledge the Holy Spirit (by Kim Do-hoon)
The lyrics are incredibly simple, yet they alone speak volumes about my heart. This song truly brings me so much grace. Pastor Kim Do-hoon's powerful and appealing voice also fits perfectly with this praise. Many have covered this song, but I love hearing it with Pastor Kim Do-hoon's voice the most. Holy Spirit, I acknowledge it. I pray that this song will draw you closer to God on Friday.
Holy Spirit, I acknowledge you and welcome you.
Come into me now
Holy Spirit, I acknowledge you and welcome you.
Come into me now
Come and fill my thirsty soul.
Come into me now
Holy Spirit, I acknowledge you and welcome you.
Come into me now
Holy Spirit, I acknowledge you and welcome you.
Come into me now
Come and fill my thirsty soul.
Come into me now
